A carefully-crafted menu built on seasonal, local produce and freshly-caught fish includes tapas options, seafood and shellfish and Catalan specialities such as the infamous planxa (grill).

Discover Collioure Part 2. Amy Marina is back, here is day 2 of her holiday in Collioure.

In this episode Amy tries the restaurant Le Jardin De Collioure and goes on the road train to the Fort St Elme. The road train travels through the vines high above Collioure village up to the Fort St Elme where you get a couple of minutes to enjoy the views over the harbour and the windmill. The train then continues into Port-Vendres, along the coastal road back to Collioure. For those who have not been to Collioure before, this is a good way to get your barings and understand what is around.

She also takes us for a look inside the Chateau Royale de Collioure.

In mid May 2017, one of our guests vlogged her stay in Collioure, it is called Discover Collioure Part 1. She has done a fantastic job of capturing the essence of Collioure village.

In this episode, she visits the ice cream parlour L’Insolite and the restaurant L’Amphitryon.

With fantastic views of the plage de Faubourg and wonderful shots of the Chateau Royal, you can really are transported to the village.

Brasserie La Voile in Collioure

Brasserie La Voile in Collioure is a fantastic spot for an aperitif. Serving drinks from around 5 pm until 8 pm, customers can expect great views and good service. The Brasserie La Voile is part of the Neptune restaurant.

The terrace has three sails above it resembling a ship. We went there in April just as the sun was setting over the harbour and we were served complimentary olives with our rosé. It was a lovely warm evening and ideal for watching the sun go down.

The ship theme of the bar is continued with a deck style area and ship like ropes. The views out over the harbour are stunning.

The resturant itself is excellent, although quite expensive. They make a great deal of effort to present and serve seasonal food. The service is keen and efficient without being overbearing.
